ADMISSIONS AND RECORDS

Services available- Staff is available to: answer questions about applying and registering, assist with adding and dropping classes, provide copies of your academic records (transcripts) upon your request, make reservations for individual ESL assessments, and process petitions for certificates & diplomas upon completion of participating programs.

STUDENT CENTER


Student Success Center 
The Student Success Center offers a variety of services and resources all geared towards supporting you in your academic success at PCC. Registered PCC Students with a valid LancerCard ID are welcome to access the center. 

Services & Resources available- 

  • Tutoring:
    One-on-one tutoring and in classrooms. Check center for current schedule. 
  • Computer lab access:
    For school and career/job search related use.
  • Audio/Visual stations and equipment: 
    Equipment such as headphones and DVD/BluRay players are available.    
  • Learning videos:
    Videos are available for language arts, ESL, math, social studies, and other subjects. 
  • Electronic aides:
    DSPS students can request equipment. Contact your DSPS Counselor for assistance.  
  • Study space:
    Quiet areas are available for studying & homework. 
  • Private Study rooms:
    Four rooms are available and can accommodate up to 6 students. Audio/visual equipment available. Rooms are offered on a first come, first served basis but can be reserved in advance. Contact the center for reservations. 
  • Book lending & course materials:
    Books and materials can be borrowed for use at the center. Some books may be checked-out for 7 days using a LancerCard ID. 
  • Career & Job counseling:
    By appointment only. Contact center for instructions on how to schedule an appointment. 
  • Copy machine and printing:
    Print up to 10 pages per day for free. Copy machine fees are $.10 per sheet in B&W and $.25 per sheet in color. 
  • LancerCard ID station:  
    Registered students can visit the station to get an ID. Hours vary. Contact center for hours of operation. Your LancerID will give you access to Student Success Center services/resources listed above.

DSPS


DISABLED STUDENT SERVICES (DSPS)

Services available-  DSP&S staff provide the following services: Intake and Disability verification, disability management counseling, student educational contracts, outreach to instructors, help with access to assistive technologies, adaptive furniture, accommodations for Personal Service Attendants and interpreting, and real time captioning.

TUTORING


Tutoring 

Services Available- 
Students can request general tutoring in the Student Success Center. Tutors are available to meet with students individually or in small group sessions in academic subjects such as Math, Science, English, Language Arts, Business, and more. Tutors are able to help students use Canvas and can provide homework assistance in various subjects. Integrated tutoring may also be available in certain classes (i.e. Adult High School Diploma program, ESL program). Tutoring services are at no cost to registered students with a valid LancerCard ID.

ID SERVICES


ID SERVICES

Services available: As a registered student, you are eligible to receive a LancerCard  ID.  Your student ID gives you access to various PCC student services.
  

Location- Foothill Campus ID Station is located in the Student Success Center, Room 108. Hours of operation may vary.

SHUTTLE SERVICES


SHUTTLE SERVICES

Services available- Use the PCC Shuttle to travel between the Foothill Campus, Allen Avenue Gold line Station, and the PCC Main Colorado Campus.
The shuttle is free to current students and PCC Staff.  A PCC Student or Staff LancerCard ID is required to board the shuttle at any location. The shuttle leaves every 15 - 30 minutes from each location.
