Metropolitan is a public agency and a regional water wholesaler. We are a voluntary cooperative of 26 member agencies that purchase some or all of their water from Metropolitan. These member agencies and their sub-agencies provide water for 19 million people across six Southern California counties. As Metropolitan workforce development conducts outreach to provide industry awareness about careers in water, we are talking about the industry as whole.  Our member agencies also have various opportunities.
